Welcome to Conley Quarter Horses

45+ Years of Proven Bloodlines, Performance & Family Tradition

At Conley Quarter Horses, we’ve spent over four decades raising quality Quarter Horses with the minds, genetics, and foundation to excel in cutting, reining, barrels, ranch work, and more. Based in beautiful Southwest Colorado, our operation is rooted in tradition—and powered by a deep love for good horses and the Western lifestyle.

We are Pat and Norma Conley, and horses have been a part of our story from the very beginning. Over the years, our horses have gone on to win at the Four Corners Cutting & Reining Futurity, compete in events like team penning, barrels, and working cow horse, and prove themselves as loyal ranch partners across the region.

Our broodmare band is stacked with champion bloodlines—including direct descendants of Freckles Playboy, Doc O’Lena, Peppy San Badger, Leo, and Rocket Wrangler. These are mares with brains, bone, and heart—true producers that pass on trainability, athleticism, and great minds. If a mare isn’t easy to catch in the pasture, she doesn’t make the cut!

This is truly a multi-generational operation. Pat can recite a pedigree like a walking encyclopedia, Norma keeps our records and loves halter-breaking colts, and our daughters and grandkids have grown up riding and training the horses we raise. We’re proud to say our next generation is already in the saddle and helping carry on the Conley name.

Our foals are born at home and raised right, spending their summers in the Colorado mountains where they grow strong, sure-footed, and naturally conditioned. Most of our colts are weaned in the fall, lightly handled over winter, and then turned back out to grow up. Whether you're looking for a colt to start yourself or a performance prospect with proven genetics, we’ve got something special waiting for you.

We invite you to explore our horses, learn more about our program, and see what generations of dedication, integrity, and horsemanship can produce.
